The Art Institutes Summer Studio Workshop 2008

Design a logo or poster that is seen by everyone?
If you have an interest in the design, media arts, fashion or culinary
fields, The Art Institutes Summer Studio workshop is your chance to
work with industry professionals and get hands-on experience in
creative careers.
The week-long workshops involve working with a team in your field
of interest to get a glimpse of what it’s like to be an advertising
executive, culinary professional, interior designer, Web site or video
game designer, industrial designer, fashion designer or a graphic
designer. Students have the opportunity to learn how to: design
sets, costumes and props; develop an ad campaign and create
promotional materials, Web sites and interactive games; and cater
for large groups of people. Whichever creative field inspires you,
you’ll learn how they all work together. Programs vary by location.
You won’t be working the whole time, though. Field trips and
evening social activities are available so there is plenty of time to
relax and make friends.
